ARE YOU EXCITED FOR RELAY FOR LIFE 2010?!!

With the kickoff only 24 hours away, we ask only that you take the time to register and come out to enjoy the fun! Tomorrow afternoon at 7pm is the 2010 Relay For Life Kickoff at North Hall on 3200 Race Street, a perfect opportunity to learn about our wonderful event and bring new friends so that they can learn as well! There will be pizza, raffle tickets, t-shirts, music, and much more! This event is vital to the success of this years Relay for Life, and we hope to see all of you out to support and enjoy the festivities! We also encourage you to bring a friend to the event in order to expand our ever-growing numbers so that this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever!

This year’s Relay for Life is located at the Drexel University Armory April 10th-11th from 7pm-7am, only 89 days from today! With so little time and so much to do, we encourage you to sign up on the Drexel Relay for Life website located at http://www.drexelrelayforlife.com, or you can sign up using the button below!

When signing up, please take the time to create your teams from last year and encourage friends who didn’t attend years past to make new teams!

RECREATION CENTER HOURS

An Update from Dan Simmons -

Beginning MONDAY, JANUARY 4th the Recreation Center 3rd floor will open.

and Hours for Recreation Center & DAC as follows (Note- addt'l hours have now been extended Sat & Sun).

Recreation Center:

Monday- Friday- 11am-12am; Sat- 8am-8pm; Sun 10am-10pm

Daskalakis Athletic Center:

Monday-Friday-6am-12am; Sat-8am-8pm; Sun-10am-10pm

Throughout January, areas of Recreation Center will phase open.

Group Exercise will stay in DAC until February.

Tuesday, Jan 19th- we will officially close DAC rec weight room & fitness center. That week Recreation Center will open at 4pm each day (earlier as feasible), as they furnish 2nd and 1st floors. At that point, no later then Friday, Jan 22nd, Recreation Center will open 6am weekdays & follow new hours. Full Recreation Center opening expected no later then Feb 8th.
