Below are listed the awards that will be presented at this year's Student Life Banquet. These awards are selected by members in the Engagement and Operations Assembly of Drexel USGA, but the assembly is looking for nominees from all members of USGA and the student body. Please read over the descriptions of each award, and reply only to the EOA chair, Roy Feliciano (rfeliciano@drexelusga.org), with any nominations you would like to make. If you have a reason you would like to express for your nomination, it is encouraged that you include that in your reply to Roy as well so the assembly can include it in its deliberations for the winners.
The deadline for nominations is this coming Monday, 3/8 by 7pm.

a. Papadakis - this an entirely new award created this year
A student or faculty leader whose actions will affect the future of the University through their innovation of new ideas.
b. Hackney
Given to a staff member or administrator who has demonstrated exemplary service to the student body.
c. Dale
This award is presented to a USGA officer who has made an outstanding contribution to the USGA and Drexel community over the past academic year. This is usually given to a new member of USGA.
d. Brinkman
This award is given to a person who reflects the spirit of USGA by demonstrating outstanding dedication, enthusiasm and support to its members throughout the year.
e. Caneris Awards
This award is given to a person who makes an outstanding contribution to USGA.
f. Honor Dragon
Recognition of administration, faculty, or staff who have been key supporters of student organizations.
USGA will be hosting a Townhall with President Pennoni and his cabinet. The President will give a brief update on the University’s status and an update on the Presidential search followed by a Q&A conducted by the students where they can express their concerns about campus and the University. Details for the event are below.

We will be celebrating the opening of the new Drexel Recreation Center (33rd and Market Streets) today, Saturday, February 20, 2010 from 3 to 5 p.m. Students from all colleges and schools are invited to check out the Rec Center, including the courts, classes and climbing wall!!! The event will include music, free food and raffles for a Nintendo Wii and sports equipment. For more information, contact Alyssa Woodman at amw62@drexel.edu.
