Drexel has recently opened a new parking lot "K-99" which is located at 36th Street between Market Street and Lancaster Avenue. This lot is offered to students for $99.

Congratulations to police officer George McKnight for winning the 1st Public Safety Appreciation Award. This award is given out to a Public Safety personnel that exhibits outstanding student support and care for students needs. McKnight has been involved with policing for over 25 and began his Drexel career in 2007 working as a Supervisor of the Department of Public Safety. He was sworn in as a Drexel Police officer on September, 3rd 2009. If you see McKnight around campus make sure to congratulate him on his award.
Come out and have some coffee and donuts with the Drexel University Police Force! On September 23rd, 5 PM - 7 PM at the Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) house located on 35th and Powelton get some food and refreshments while you get to introduce yourself to our NEW Police Force. Find out how they’re working with students to keep the neighborhood and students safe, and other student initiatives that are in the works!
Interim President Pennoni invites you to take part in an open forum for the University community hosted by the Presidential Search Committee on Friday, August 28. This is an opportunity for you to learn about the search process and the committee's progress, and to offer your input on the attributes and leadership priorities you consider most important for Drexel's next president.
There will be two forums, one on the University City Main Campus and one on the Center City Hahnemann Campus:
University City Main Campus
11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m., August 28
Mandell Theater, Creese Student Center, Chestnut Street between 32nd and 33rd Streets
Center City Hahnemann Campus
2:30-3:45 p.m., August 28
Geary Auditorium, New College Building, 15th and Vine Streets
Richard Greenawalt, chairman of the Drexel University Board of Trustees and the Presidential Search Committee, will be joined at both forums by representatives from executive search firm Witt/Kieffer.
