5:00 PM | Daskalakis Center, North Gym

Prepare for an energized introduction to the world’s most high-intensity sport for people with spinal cord injuries – Wheelchair Rugby, otherwise known as Murderball. Players on the Magee Eagles team of Philadelphia will demonstrate the sport’s intensity. If you don’t believe what you see, you too will have the chance to sit in the athletic chairs, crashing and colliding your way to the goal line!

The event will be followed by a reception. This free event is open to the public.

Thursday, March 11th, Sigma Phi Epsilon will be holding the St. Baldrick's benefit concert in the Drexel Armory from 6-11 pm.  This is Drexel SigEp's 4th annual benefit concert for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Since 2007, Drexel SigEp has raised over $50,000 by holding head shavings and benefit concerts. This year, their goal is to raise an additional $30,000, but they can't do that without your help! Please support this noble cause and come have a great time.

In addition to having a great band line-up, this year they will be having their first ever carnival theme. They'll have a blow-up joust (like in American Gladiators) as well as a sumo-wresling ring and other carnival attractions. Bands include Drexel born bands Mercy Blue and The Absolute Zeros, as well as Taylor Carson, Philly's own Venice Sunlight, and Ethan and the Bros.

For more information on the St. Baldrick's Foundation and how to donate online, visit www.stbaldricks.org/events/sigep2010
